Private Education: I began playing violin when I was twelve years old. I took private violin lessons for five years and fell in love with music. My highschool years were my biggest season of growth musically. I am still developing my style and love the challenge of learning to play violin. Performing Experience: From the time I was thirteen, I competed in local violin competitions, festivals, and also joined a youth orchestra. My junior and senior year of high school, I auditioned and played in all-region orchestra. Once I started college, I joined the Lamar Civic Orchestra. Since I started learning to play violin, I have played at several weddings, events, and I also joined the worship team at my church. Experience Teaching: I began teaching private violin lessons when I was eighteen years old. Since that time, I have had five students take lessons on and off over the past few years. My goal as a teacher is to give you the solid music foundation you need to be successful as a violin player.
