We have been proving this exciting and professional service to customers since 1983. The Christ of the Deep is a bucket list item that must be checked off during your visit to Key Largo. You will see the giant Christ Statue as well as hundreds of colorful tropical fish and large coral heads. Please understand the Christ of the Deep reef is a much deeper reef so if weather conditions don't allow us to visit the reef we have a back up plan of visiting nearby grecian rocks coral reef which is very shallow and protected. The last thing we want to do is travel 30 minutes all the way out to the Christ reef and have to turn around and head back to the dock with no experience at all because the current is too strong. Grecian Rock reefs is also an amazing reef flourishing with tropical fish and interesting coral. Visiting the Statue is the #1 objective if possible.

Come join us SCUBA diving some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many different reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different sites on the reef. The sites are chosen by the captain based on the day's sea conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific sites. IMPORTANT: You MUST be SCUBA certified with recent dive experience for this activity. If you have not been diving in more than one year, you may be required to hire a guide at an additional charge. If you have not been diving in over two years, you will be required to take a refresher course. Single divers may be required to hire a guide.

Key Largo Dive Center has received 7 awards from Scuba Diving Magazine for quality, safety, and service in 2026. The staff is among the most experienced in the country with decades of scuba experience. We are a PADI 5-Star Dive Center. We are located at the Bayside Inn Key Largo Resort for your convenience. On the first day you will review the PADI e-Learning that you completed prior to attending. You will then proceed to the pool with your instructor for a morning of confined water training. In the afternoon you will begin your open water dive training. On the second day you will board our boat for the completion of your open water dive training. Unlike many other places offering scuba training, Key Largo Dive Center owns our large custom dive boat so we can control all of the dive training sites. Upon successful completion of your training you will be awarded the PADI Open Water Diver Certification allowing you to dive with a buddy and not need an instructor to accompany you.

Cruising in the Florida Keys on a Floating Tiki Bar is very unique. Each tiki boat holds up to 6 guest. We stream music on a ipad, stop for swimming and if lucky see wildlife! Trips can be private or with other groups. See the sunset from a Floating Tiki Bar!
