We are the only kayak company with a private launch centrally located between Three Sisters and Hunter Springs. Here at Kacey’s Custom Adventures, we strive to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience through the beautiful Kings Bay. All of our equipment is top of the line, new and clean, with our employees pressure washing them after every use. All of our vessels are crescent brand vessels, from our tandems, to single persons kayaks, to our hybrid paddle boards. Our crescent kayaks are sit on top with supportive, comfortable, adjustable chairs. Along with the kayak of your choosing we also provide you with a complimentary dry bag, and a map marking out manatee sanctuaries and designated swim areas. All of our employees are Crystal River Florida natives, being born and raised here gives us the opportunity to supply you with all the information needed to fully enjoy the experience that is Kings Bay.

Crystal River is home to beautiful fresh water springs, a large variety of wildlife, and or course our most famous residents - West Indian Manatees. During the Summer months, the Bay holds approximately 75 to 80 resident manatees. Each winter between 700 and 1000 manatees migrate here seeking out our three first magnitude spring systems, each with a constant temperature of 72° to 74° F (23° C). Even in the warm summer months, Crystal River has a local population of 70-100 manatees that remain here year round. Due to efforts by many local, state and federal entities, our manatee population is thriving. We feel that an in-water swim experience is an important part of this education and conservation effort. Our team of highly trained in-water guides ensure your experience with this cherished and threatened species is handled with the utmost care and respect by encouraging passive observation. With only 6 passengers per boat you are guaranteed a special small group interaction.

We are a locally owned business. I am the owner and operator, I possess extensive expertise in leading tours on Kings Bay, gained from years of experience. I am ardently committed to preserving the beauty of our waterways and strive to maintain a negligible environmental footprint.

As the leaders in the industry we feel it is our duty to have all our tours conducted by professionals. Our Manatee snorkel tours are guided by USCG Captain as well as a licensed and insured dive professional. Our in water professionals are trained as first responders, with First aid, CPR, AED administration and in-water rescue training. Captain and guides are also trained in manatee manners, through the Manatee Eco Tourism Association in coordination with United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The training allows us to lead the industry by operating the saftest tours on the water for our guest and manatees alike.

Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.  Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. The tour is a total of 4 hours, 1 is spent in our dive shop for check-in and education and the other 3 are on the water. We provide all transportation to and from the dock, so no parking fee! Our experienced Captain’s and Guides will make this an unforgettable trip. Manatees are wild animals and once our crew has located one, they will instruct you on getting into the water and swimming along with Florida’s Gentle Giants. Your Guide will be taking photos and videos the entire time which will be emailed to you after your tour.. The small group size of no more than 6 per boat helps better ensure that both your group and the manatees are having a safe and fun time. At the end of the tour, your crew will take you back to our dive shop where you can change, rinse off in our shower (with complimentary shower towels included) and head out to experience the rest of Crystal River!

After the morning manatee tour relax on the afternoon Rainbow River drift where you can snorkel or scuba dive. The Rainbow River, a Florida spring, is unmatched with crystal clear water and over 200 feet of visibility. See many different varieties of fish,turtles and other wildlife up close. Discover fossils coming out of the different springs dotting the bottom. At the end of the drift is a small cavern where Sun fish hangout in abundance. Departing from our private docks at the Paddletail Waterfront Lodge, you'll first join our local expert Captain for an hour dedicated to spotting manatees and other incredible wildlife, learning about this special ecosystem.
