The maximum weight allowed for one rider is 250 lbs, and the maximum weight is 450 lbs for two riders. Includes all necessary safety equipment, as well as free parking at our shop! We can't wait to get you out on the water! Before you arrive: All participants must complete liability waivers and safety video available on our website home page. Please arrive 25 min prior to your booking time to ensure all waivers and videos are completed, as well as to receive your launch wrist bands! Keep in mind: All Clear-Kayak Tours have a 2 person minimum! We do not allow for a single-person tour, we reserve the right to cancel a booking on the morning of the booking if it doesn't meet our 2 person requirements. Important: 5 kayak max capacity, so even-numbers must be doubled up on tandem kayaks!

Crystal River is home to beautiful fresh water springs, a large variety of wildlife, and or course our most famous residents - West Indian Manatees. During the Summer months, the Bay holds approximately 75 to 80 resident manatees. Each winter between 700 and 1000 manatees migrate here seeking out our three first magnitude spring systems, each with a constant temperature of 72° to 74° F (23° C). Even in the warm summer months, Crystal River has a local population of 70-100 manatees that remain here year round. Due to efforts by many local, state and federal entities, our manatee population is thriving. We feel that an in-water swim experience is an important part of this education and conservation effort. Our team of highly trained in-water guides ensure your experience with this cherished and threatened species is handled with the utmost care and respect by encouraging passive observation. With only 6 passengers per boat you are guaranteed a special small group interaction.

We are the only kayak company with a private launch centrally located between Three Sisters and Hunter Springs. Here at Kacey’s Custom Adventures, we strive to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience through the beautiful Kings Bay. All of our equipment is top of the line, new and clean, with our employees pressure washing them after every use. All of our vessels are crescent brand vessels, from our tandems, to single persons kayaks, to our hybrid paddle boards. Our crescent kayaks are sit on top with supportive, comfortable, adjustable chairs. Along with the kayak of your choosing we also provide you with a complimentary dry bag, and a map marking out manatee sanctuaries and designated swim areas. On our one of a kind tour, you will kayak AND swim inside of Three Sisters Springs on our guided eco-tour. This all inclusive tour includes a kayak, snorkel, mask, life vest, swim noodle, and one of our amazing LOCAL guides. Throughout the expedition, you will have the opportunity to view the beautiful nature and wildlife that we are known for including over 70 freshwater springs including the best spring, which is Three Sister Springs. You will have the opportunity to possibly view dolphins, manatees, pelicans, tarpon, turtles, otters, and many more of the local wildlife.  There will be plenty of chances to take pictures on our guided tours and a picture package will be available for purchase at the end of your tour.

Departing from our private docks at the Paddletail Waterfront Lodge, you'll first join our local expert Captain for an hour dedicated to spotting manatees and other incredible wildlife, learning about this special ecosystem. As the golden hour approaches, we'll then relax and soak in the stunning Kings Bay sunset before returning to the dock – the perfect blend of wildlife adventure and serene beauty.

Discover the untouched beauty of Florida’s Nature Coast on this shared Kings Bay Wildlife Tour in Crystal River, limited to a maximum of six travelers for a more personal experience. Guided by a local U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain with extensive knowledge of the area, this tour offers an intimate look at the diverse wildlife inhabiting these spring-fed waters, including manatees, dolphins, otters, birds, and occasionally alligators. Each outing is unique, shaped by tides, weather, and seasonal conditions, creating an authentic wildlife experience away from large crowds. After the morning manatee tour relax on the afternoon Rainbow River drift where you can snorkel or scuba dive. The Rainbow River, a Florida spring, is unmatched with crystal clear water and over 200 feet of visibility. See many different varieties of fish,turtles and other wildlife up close. Discover fossils coming out of the different springs dotting the bottom. At the end of the drift is a small cavern where Sun fish hangout in abundance. This drift dive or snorkel can be enjoyed by the whole family.

For the best chance of seeing manatees, choose a morning tour when overnight temperatures are below 70°F. Sightings can be more challenging on warmer days. • Wetsuits are not provided. We do not offer in-water swim guides or traditional manatee swim tours. This is a kayak-focused experience. When conditions allow, we may stop at a safe, shallow area where you can exit your kayak and enter the water independently to observe manatees. We are environmentalists first. We do not condone crowding manatees or placing large groups around one animal. If a respectful swim opportunity naturally presents itself, you are welcome to enjoy it. Otherwise, we observe wildlife from the kayak. The manatees and their well-being always come first.
