Here at Kacey’s Custom Adventures, we strive to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience through the beautiful Kings Bay. All of our equipment is top of the line, new and clean, with our employees pressure washing them after every use. All of our vessels are crescent brand vessels, from our tandems, to single persons kayaks, to our hybrid paddle boards. Our crescent kayaks are sit on top with supportive, comfortable, adjustable chairs. Along with the kayak of your choosing we also provide you with a complimentary dry bag, and a map marking out manatee sanctuaries and designated swim areas. All of our employees are Crystal River Florida natives, being born and raised here gives us the opportunity to supply you with all the information needed to fully enjoy the experience that is Kings Bay.

Join us for an unforgettable guided clear-kayak tour of Crystal River! Our expert local guides provide you with the best chances to see wild manatees and other wildlife in our beautiful waterways! The maximum weight allowed for one rider is 250 lbs, and the maximum weight is 450 lbs for two riders. Includes all necessary safety equipment, as well as free parking at our shop! We can't wait to get you out on the water! Before you arrive: All participants must complete liability waivers and safety video available on our website home page (manateepaddle.com). Please arrive 25 min prior to your booking time to ensure all waivers and videos are completed, as well as to receive your launch wrist bands! Keep in mind: All Clear-Kayak Tours have a 2 person minimum! We do not allow for a single-person tour, we reserve the right to cancel a booking on the morning of the booking if it doesn't meet our 2 person requirements.

Crystal River is home to beautiful fresh water springs, a large variety of wildlife, and or course our most famous residents - West Indian Manatees. During the Summer months, the Bay holds approximately 75 to 80 resident manatees. Each winter between 700 and 1000 manatees migrate here seeking out our three first magnitude spring systems, each with a constant temperature of 72° to 74° F (23° C). Even in the warm summer months, Crystal River has a local population of 70-100 manatees that remain here year round. Due to efforts by many local, state and federal entities, our manatee population is thriving. We feel that an in-water swim experience is an important part of this education and conservation effort. Our team of highly trained in-water guides ensure your experience with this cherished and threatened species is handled with the utmost care and respect by encouraging passive observation. With only 6 passengers per boat you are guaranteed a special small group interaction.

Our guided "Swim With the Manatees" tour is our number one attraction. You get the opportunity to experience manatees up close and personal in their natural habitat on colder days. Manatee season runs from November 15th through March 31st each year. We have amazing local guides who know our waters very well so you could spot several manatees in the right conditions. The colder the temperatures, the more manatees you will see. On warmer days/weeks, some tours get zero manatees because it is a natural environment and they are not always around to see. The manatees head back out to the Gulf of Mexico where the food supply is more bountiful for them. You will learn the right way to interact with these amazing animals through passive observation and learn all about our ecosystem here in Crystal River.

Join our USCG Master Captain at Fort Island Park to embark on a 90 minute tour around Kings Bay and/or The Crystal River. While boating around the bay you'll have the opportunity to learn about and see The Crystal River, The Florida Manatee and many other species of wildlife that call this area their home from a true Crystal River native. This is a perfect opportunity to sit back, relax, and connect with nature. We keep our groups as a semi-private experience with a maximum of 6 guests each trip, as we find it creates a much more enjoyable and relaxed experience for everyone aboard. Our vessel is 26 feet long, fully covered, and has plenty of room for everyone aboard to get great views all around. Tours can be booked public or private and trips leave 4 times a day!

Your Manatee Journey starts here! Enjoy the confidence that our Facility holds a U.S. Fish & Wildlife Special Use Permit for swimming with manatees. This permit is designed to assist you during your manatee encounter and beyond. Manatee education, snorkeling prep work and all gear needed will be provided. No parking fee nor No entry fee! The small group size of no more than 6 per boat helps ensure that both your group and the manatees are having a safe and fun time. Our experienced Coast Guard Captains and Professional Guides will make this an unforgettable trip. Manatees are wild animals enjoying their natural habitat. Your dive crew will instruct you as needed while snorkeling with these Gentle Giants. Your Guide will be taking photos and videos during the experience. At the end of the tour, we offer a complimentary shower & towel.

After the morning manatee tour relax on the afternoon Rainbow River drift where you can snorkel or scuba dive. The Rainbow River, a Florida spring, is unmatched with crystal clear water and over 200 feet of visibility. See many different varieties of fish,turtles and other wildlife up close. Discover fossils coming out of the different springs dotting the bottom. At the end of the drift is a small cavern where Sun fish hangout in abundance. This drift dive or snorkel can be enjoyed by the whole family.
