Walk on water with us!  We are the local authority on SUP lessons and tours.  Fully guided instruction and tours on the calm, inshore waters of the Banana River Lagoon.  Safety is a priority, so we always mind the weather and wind.  For this reason, we typically meet at our shop and depart from there to the best location that gets us out of the wind.  No experience necessary, but you should be a proficient swimmer.   We'll help you in every way, and teach you about getting up, paddle strokes, turning, backing up, and getting comfortable on your board.  All equipment is included.  Our paddling areas include the unique opportunity to experience dolphins and manatees as well, so we always have fun.  The lesson/tour runs from 1.5hrs to 2.5 hrs depending on your comfort level.  Please arrive ready to get wet, and have towels and a change of clothes handy.  We also recommend sunscreen, dry bag for electronics, and bottled water to keep handy.

On this tour, you'll receive individual guidance as necessary to get into and out of your vessel, and get help with simple instructions.  No experience necessary.  And if you are an experienced paddler, we'll only help when asked. We'll enjoy relaxed manatee and dolphin viewing as well as other marine wildlife at your pace, paddling along natural mangrove shorelines, marine islands, and scenic tidal flats.  Frequent sightings include manatees, dolphins, jumping fish, otters, shore birds, diving birds, birds of prey (osprey, bald eagles) and occasionally bottom marine life such as crabs, rays, skates, fish and more.  No matter what the sightings though, you'll have a great time learning about Florida lagoons and enjoying a tranquil paddle in paradise.

Join us on a walking food tour of one of the busiest cruise ports in the world. Come enjoy the wondrous glow of bioluminescence during the summer months in the famous Indian River Lagoon, a National Marine Estuary.  These tours are easy and fun for all ages over 6.  The inshore bayside waters of the lagoon offer calm waters for us to paddle on, where we have both single and 2-person kayaks for you to enjoy.  All bioluminescent evening tours are fully guided, all you have to do is show up at our park location on the water where there is safe parking, restrooms, etc.

A1A Outdoor Center is the area leader in organized outdoor activities, wildlife kayak tours and other biking and waterports activities.  On this tour, we'll deliver kayaks and everything necessary for your group to enjoy a private paddle at a location of your preference, or where the best daily report for manatee and dolphin activity is! This tour is a fantastic option for anyone who's kayaked previously and does not require a guide. Enjoy relaxed manatee and dolphin viewing as well as other marine wildlife at your pace, paddling where and how you wish, with the privacy of just you and your group. For more than 10 yeas we've provided this is private, 2-hour lesson on your schedule. And we can provide beach chairs, umbrellas, canopies, beach games, everything for the beach! Meet your experienced instructor at your hotel or at a beachside park if you’re not staying in town. We recommend Lori Wilson Park typically. Rental of a custom-fitted surfboard is included, and additional surfboard rental time after the lesson can be provided, upon request. If you're here on a port of call stop with a cruise ship, we'll meet you at the ship's provided beach location, if they provide transporation.
