If you have never seen alpine before, prepare to be amazed! Alpine trekking is an incredibly unique way to see the landscape. You can see endless miles of mountainous terrain. On a clear day, we can even see Mt. Denali hundreds of miles away! Plus, once you're on top, the terrain can be fairly flat, making the trekking a truly enjoyable experience. During the tour, we may see moose, bear, Dall sheep, mountain goats, and a variety of small mammals like arctic squirrels and marmots. We conduct a daily update that includes both the aurora borealis and weather forecast. The tour runs based on that forecast, but runs only if the forecast indicates a chance of seeing the aurora.
