Years of Experience: 5 Location Options: In Studio, In Home Travel Radius: 20 Genres: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Country Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Drum Lessons Overview: I have been studying and playing all forms of percussion for the last 18 years. I have taught lessons in home for 2 years, however I do not have the space to do that anymore. I also taught at Aria School of Rock in Deer Park, TX for 3 years, however due to budget cuts we were forced to close down. I worked as a technician with the marching drumline at Carmel High School in Carmel, IN (3-time BOA Grand National Champions) from 2003-2004. Formal Education: 4 years studying music at Ball State University, 4 years at Carmel High School under the direction of Mike McIntosh and Richard Saucedo Private Education: I have studied marching percussion under Yamaha artist Mike McIntosh, classical percussion under Dr. Erwin Mueller, and drum set under Benjamin Sitnikoff (Studio drummer in Nashville, worked with Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and many others) Performing Experience: I performed with my high school symphony orchestra (Carmel) at Carnegie Hall in January 2003. I have performed all over the state of Texas in the last couple of years with my bands Rainchild (2012 Texas Buzz Rock Band of the Year Award Winners) and Sundown Audio. Although I currently am only performing on drum set in rock bands, I love playing and learning and playing classical (orchestral) percussion, jazz and all other percussion. Experience Teaching: 4 years teaching private lessons (mostly drum set) to students ranging from 5 years-40 years old, with all different skill levels. Have also taught some classical and marching percussion, with about 1 year experience in each.
