He recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. Formal Education: BA, McGill University, Jazz Performance 2014 AS, SUNY Ulster, Music 2011 Private Education: Studied with Chris Mccann, Andre White, Dave Laing, Jim Doxas, Chet Doxas, Christopher Earley, Remi Bolduc, Frank Lozano, Paul Rushka, Frasier Hollins to name a few. Attended master classes by Brian Blade, Dick Oatts, Mulgrew Miller, Shai Maestro, Ari Hoenig, and Dan Weiss Performing Experience: Performing highlights include opening up for Grammy award winning artist Diane Reeves at the 2014 Montreal International Jazz Festival and being featured as a finalist of the 2014 Jazz en Rafale New Talent Contest. Has performed at major venues around the US Northeast and Eastern Canada. Experience Teaching: Private lessons in technique, rudiments, feel, vocabulary, and phrasing. Jazz improvisation/theory. Has taught larger percussion group classes. All styles and ability levels welcome.
