From blues, rock, funk, jazz, latin, acoustic, and some slide guitar. I like to teach in a laid-back no pressure and fun atmosphere, but also make it to where it is easy and fun to learn and that the student learns but also has fun doing so and would want to learn more.. I have been playing for over 30 years and have taught many different types of players, from serious to just a hobbyist. Private Education: I studied, privately under 3 different instructors, from 1 who all had varying degrees in music, from a BA to Masters in music. They taught me scales, Music theory, music reading, and composition. Performing Experience: I have played in various types of bands, as a bass player and a guitarist and performed on stage and recorded as well in those different situations, For the last 20+ years. Experience Teaching: I have taught off and on since 1999, from younger students to older adults as well.
