I am 22 years old and have been playing drum set and percussion for 11 years. My father is a drummer and initially sparked my interest and I began taking private percussion lessons in the 5th grade. Now I am mainly a performing drumset player in the Dallas based Rock group Midnight Empire. Formal Education: Drumline at Poteet High School in Mesquite, Texas 2005-2009 Music Program at Richland Community College in Dallas, Texas Private Education: Sarah Stokes 2001-2009 Derrick Logozzo 2009-2010 Performing Experience: Drumline and Symphonic Band in High School where we were the 2005 2007 4A State Marching Champions and the 2007 TMEA Honor Band Various ensembles at Richland College such as the Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and Wind Symphony I performed gigs with Dallas based rock band Midnight Empire with national acts such as Days of the New, Dead Sara, and RATT with future dates at the festival Rock U.S.A. alongside national acts such as Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Twisted Sister, and Van Halen.
