I have been playing bass for 15 years. Ihave played in many cover and original bands through out my bass playing career. I specialize in funk and reggae but enjoy also playing blues, jazz, rock and other styles. I orginally from Maine but have lived in Boston the Virgin Islands and now florida for the past year. I love all kinds of music to listen to and to play. I enjoy helping people learn bass because it makes me feel like adding to the music community. I can show you how to learn the instrument so you to can play in a band and enjoy the world of playing music. Formal Education: I played in the jazz and big band thoughout high school. Itook music courses in high and college. Private Education: Itook lessons all through out high from Ed Roseman. He wrote a music theory book and taught me for 3 years. Everything from reading music, theory and much more. Performing Experience: I have played in many cover bands along with jazz bands. Most currently playing with the many ones in West Palm Beach. Experience Teaching: I have been teaching bass since college and have mostly had younger students with little or no experience. I teach them the way I was taught and make sure they learn the styles of music they most enjoy.
