I've been exploring music for over 12 years now and love not only playing and composing music but imparting my knowledge to others Formal Education: I studied for my associate's degree in music performance at John A. Logan community college, then went on to receive my bachelor degree in music business from Southern Illinois Univerisity of Carbondale. Performing Experience: I've been doing a solo act for the majority of the last 5 years. However, I've been in many different bandsover the last 10 years. Everything from pop to country, and even worship music. I've performed locally all over southern Illinois and in St. Louis. I also traveled and performed with a guitar quartet while in college. Experience Teaching: During college, I taught for a fine arts academy, for about 2 years, for an after-school program. I also did substituteteaching for a local music store during this time, teaching bass and guitar.
