I have been a student of music for 10 years. My musical influences include classical and I also enjoy folk/alternative. My teaching style can best be described as hands on. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I help people to achieve their full potential. In my lessons, you can expect to start with the foundations that will give you a solid springboard into the advanced topics of the instrument. I like to tell my students they are capable of anything they set their minds to. My favorite thing about teaching is watching the growth of my students. It's humbling that I can have such an effect on people's lives. My favorite performance was high school year violin where I was awarded the most outstanding violinist trophy for my school. My students love that I teach them at their pace but also nudge them farther at the proper times. I primarily teach classical guitar and violin, but I can also teach other forms of guitar like rock, blues and acoustic.
