I have played in dozens of bands. Most of my experience has been playing/writing/recording original material. I have also played in my share of cover bands. I have played on more than 70 records as a studio musician over the last 25 years. I have taught off and on for over 20 years. Formal Education: Middle school and High school bands, including...concert band, marching band, jazz ensemble, district orchestra, etc... Private Education: Studied privately for years with master drummer, Danny Boozer. Performing Experience: Have played in every type of band and every style of music. I have played at most of the major venues in Atlanta. Including, The Roxy, The Fox Theatre, Smith's Ole Bar, Dark Horse Tavern, Eddie's Attic, The Masquerade, etc...Began doing studio dates for singer/songwriters or bands in 1993...Have played on more than 70 records. Experience Teaching: Started teaching other local players...Would be asked about lessons at gigs by the drummers in the other bands...I have excellent technique with a rudimental background. Fundamentals is the key to being a good player.
