At that time I began to learn classical piano. In College I started taking classes in Musica Theatre, contemporary music, and various styles. I also started taking classes with Linda Switzer and learned the Bel Canto Technique. I took on the guitar on my own in my early twenties and then began formal classes at St. Petersburg College, where I put together a Duo and at times also performed with other artists. I also performed in various Musical Theatre shows in college and in the area. As far as my teaching experience, it begin in 2002 when I graduated college. I started teahcing dance and musical theatre, and then singing. From that time on I continued with all styles of dance, Theatre, and performing techniques. Later, I began teaching music (piano, voice, guitar) and pursued training at St. Petersburg College in the MIRA program, where I trained in more advanced methors in voice, piano, guitar, composition, and songwriting. I teach children ages 6 and up to adults.
