Though Music was not my major, I have been playing piano and organ for 43 years, I started at age 4. I am classically and professionally trained but have been playing in church since I was 5. I play by ear and by music. Most recently, I was employed by 2 churches in West Philly and also played with Philly Mass Choir. I have had the honor of playing for John P. Kee. Music is my joy. I taught lessons when I was home in SC. I have played in almost EVERY denomination. I love teaching students and passing my knowledge on, it gives me a sense of accomplishment. I also play the trumpet. I write music as well and have a few original songs that I let my choirs perform.
