I have been a student of music for 8 years. My musical influences include SRV, Hendrix, and I also enjoy modern guitar players such as Eric Johnson, and Joe Satriani. My teaching style can best be described as flexible and customizable. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that "music has to be fun so that you really want to practice. Should you see it as a homework you'll quit". In my lessons, you can expect to learn the basics of music theory and tons of sounds that will make you smile. I like to tell my students how to set their music room simple, but organize, and always ready to practice. My favorite thing about teaching is sharing the contents I've gathered, and hopefully realize my students use them in a practical way. My favorite performance is Steve Vai playing "For the Love of God" along with The Metrpole Orchestra. My students love that I'm easygoing, but also very objective when assessing their skills. I primarily teach rock/blues, but I can also teach jazz/bossa nova. My approach as a teacher is to encourage students to go further and develop their own style.
