He teaches in a state of the art facility that utilizes comprehensive printed materials, video lessons and backing tracks. Lesson plans for each student are based on experience level. Quarterly recitals, Rock Show Academy programs and Summer Rock Camps are opportunities for students to gain valuable live ensemble performance experience. Many of Jon’s students have gone on to study at the collegiate level, perform semi-professionally and in a few cases, touring with national acts. Jon also teaches guitar at prestigious Cincinnati High Schools such as St Xavier and Moeller. As a clinician, Jon has performed masterclass clinics on improvisation and the guitar artistry of David Gilmour. Jon is a first call guitarist for churches in Southwest Ohio such as Crossroads,The Vineyard, Springdale Nazarene, Montgomery Community Church and Pierce Point to name a few.
