Private Half Hour Guitar Lessons with Matthew (In Webcam)

Years of Experience: 9 Location Options: In Studio, In Home, In Webcam Travel Radius: 10 Genres: Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Country, Acoustic Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Guitar Lessons,Song Writing Lessons Overview: I began playing music around the age of 8. I was in the church's children's choir and began to play organ and piano. In eighth grade I picked up guitar and joined my high school's guitar ensemble in freshman year. This year, I auditioned for and made All State Guitar. I also picked up saxophone and clarinet in my schools concert band and jazz band. I am concertmaster in the band and lead saxophone in the jazz band. I made All County Symphonic Band on the alto saxophone and look forward to learning flute in the near future. Formal Education: I have no formal eduation but have taken Jazz classes, guitar classes, and band classes. Private Education: I have received no private education to date but look forward to taking lessons with famed Saxophonist Butch Thomas. Performing Experience: I have performed from New Orleans to Tampa Bay. I performed at the Crescent City Music Festival in NOLA and won best instrumentalists. I have performed at All County for two years in a row and gig regularly around St. Petersburg with my jazz combo. Experience Teaching: I have no experience directly teaching but I have individually tutored several of my classmates on a multitude of instruments.
