In addition to maintaining a busy performance and recording schedule, I love teaching! I have been teaching for nearly a decade and with the nation's premier music instruction programs including Camp Jam and Power Chord Academy. I have developed my own teaching method to get my students playing, quickly and easily, not boggle their minds with crazy practice drills. We will learn your favorite songs at a comfortable pace and pick up the theory along the way, learning about the building blocks of music so you can write and create a style of your own. Performing Experience: I have performed extensively from Alaska in the north to Ecuador in the south. Even Zimbabwe! Many of my compositions and session work has appeared in major motion pictures, network television shows, and commercials. I have worked as a jazz bass player, touring rock and roll guitarist, pop songwriter, blues pianist, among many other exciting and rewarding opportunities. Experience Teaching: I have taught with Camp Jam and Power Chord Academy, as well as teaching up to 20 private lessons weekly. I teach guitar, bass, ukulele, and songwriting to students of all ages and skill levels.
