(I am not certified or licensed. I can provide contact information of current and previous clients for a reference if you are a serious applicant and a tour date is set.) My home daycare will be open to enroll one child 18 months through 5 years old beginning on August 26th. I am accepting applications for Part time (at least 3 days a week) and Full time (with a maximum of 50 hours a week). My hours are from 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday. I offer an environment suited to help aide your child(ren) in developing at their own pace. I am located NEAR Greenfield/ Franklin/ Oak Creek in the South Side of Milwaukee. What you can expect from me and my childcare: > Parents are informed about our day with a DAILY progress report (and a Polaroid of your child attached to show you a sneak peek of what our day looked like). > We have a weekly menu. > Maintain safety and cleanliness. > Have a good mixture of group work, reading, art and individual/ one on one learning and playtime. > Have reasonable rates because I know how hard it is to want the best for your child but find it hard to afford it. > Be attentive to your child and to understand their individual and daily needs. > HAVE FUN! :-) What makes me different: > I do not have a TV, so you can be assured that your child's day will be filled with fulfilling, engaging activities all day long. > I encourage healthy eating. Everything I will provide will be organic or fresh from the garden. I will be providing snacks, Breakfast, Lunch, milk and water. > The toys for the children are mostly simple wooden toys. We have an abundance of "dress up" clothes and puppets, for example. You can be ensured that engaging your child's imagination is my second priority (Because safety is ALWAYS #1)! > My childcare includes a "Learning Room". This room is divided into 4 sections: "Math/ Science", "Language", "Practical Life" and "Sensory". Each child will choose the activity (activities) from any of the four sections. Each activity is very basic and will introduce your child to the wonderful world of learning. We will spend up to an hour and a half in this beautiful room. > We have a large backyard and 2 playgrounds that are walking distance to our home. > I will only have a maximum of 5 children in my care. If you have read all of the above and I still have your interest, please read on to learn a little bit more about me and my family: My name is Jessica and my husband's name is Dan. We have 2 kids (3 year old girl and a 1 year old boy). My husband is a full time mail carrier and a part time MP in the National Guard. We also have a cat who is absolutely lovable and will mostly be asleep and away throughout the day. I have extensive experience working with kids. My experience includes 9 years as a swim teacher. Throughout my years as a swim teacher, I have worked with preschoolers and children in early grade school. I have gained knowledge in lesson planning and physical development. Working with kids is my passion and playing with them while they learn is such a bonus! Since I am just starting out, I am not currently on the certification/license daycare list. My future goals (within the next 2-3 years): > To earn a certification as a Montessori Teacher. > Have my own licensed daycare facility. > And my establishment would be a Montessori learning environment for children 18 months - 6 years. MY RATES: For a child 18 months-3 years old $38 a day (diapers through potty training). Age 2-3 (potty trained) $35 a day. Age 3-4 is $30 a day. Age 4-5 is $25 a day. Thank you for viewing my ad!

SAH Mother/daughter in home childcare looking for a few more playmates I am just starting out, when I decided to leave my job in Oct. I thought doing care at home would be a great idea, then I thought about doing it with my mom since she has been out of work for a year and has been trying to get ssi (she has childhood diabetes and working in a factory for the last 20 years has been very hard on her) I would still be able to do what I just got my very expensive education in and have someone that loves to be around kids a little added income. I the daughter just left my lead teacher daycare job in October to stay home and supplement my 1st graders education. I'm looking to make some extra money and still help my child, plus prepare my 3 year old for k4. I have a BS in Educational Studies with a minor in Early Childhood from Carroll University and I have CPR training. My mom has had 3 kids, numerous foster kids and has had numerous one to one in home care positions. Not to mention all the different things she has done with her own children like being a girl scout leader my whole time in girl scouts, being active in my PTA and school, and active in all of our extracurricular activities. So here I am now, with my kids and one other family of 2 looking to add a few more playmates and finally be able to include my mom. We have decided that even though this is a joint venture I would be more involved with the older kids and she would be more involved with the babies, but it wouldn t be exclusive. I have not totally set my prices yet, but have discussed with a few people what I am looking at and they say it seems very reasonable. Honestly, I want to make money, but I don't want to make other families go broke. I know how expensive it is for daycare and I don't charge as much as they do. Because of my education and my mother s experience we can provide you and your children quality service along with a save environment. After having kids of my own and being at two different daycares, I feel that there is too much pressure placed on kids to "grow up" so I have a play based atmosphere. Children DO numerous things just by the simple act of playing especially when adults interact with them while playing. There are some traditional things I do like reading books daily, singing song, and a weekly art project. All of which still teach the children things.

FAQs for finding drop-in daycares near you in Milwaukee, WI

Drop-in daycare near you in Milwaukee, WI can be a flexible and convenient solution for busy parents who need child care on an as-needed basis. This type of child care gives families the flexibility to drop their children off for just a few hours or for an entire day, depending on their individual needs. This kind of drop-in service can help to reduce stress associated with arranging more traditional, longer-term child care options.

Typically, drop-in daycares cater to children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old, but daycares will vary depending on their facilities and requirements. When reaching out to drop-in daycares in Milwaukee, WI, be sure to mention the age of your child or children and confirm they accept children in that range.

While drop-in daycares in Milwaukee, WI may require a short registration process and forms to be filled out, it is usually not necessary to make a reservation ahead of time for each visit. This convenience makes drop-in daycare an ideal option for those with unpredictable schedules or when babysitters aren't available due to illness or other unanticipated events. However, drop-in centers may fill up quickly during peak times, so it's always best to call ahead to ensure the needed availability.

When preparing to drop your child off at drop-in daycare near you in Milwaukee, WI, it is important to make sure that you are bringing all of the necessary items for a successful and enjoyable experience. Remember to bring any blankets or stuffed animals that may serve as a comfort item -- this may even include pacifiers or sippy cups if necessary.
