My caregiving experience includes my current care for 2 children (in addition to my own), working for a private daycare (past) and children's ministries at church. I have a degree in social services and feel that I offer professional, yet personal care. I have current PA Childline and State Police background checks. I "retired" from social work in 2014 to care for my son. I am happy to support your formula or breastfeeding efforts, and welcome cloth or disposable diapering. I am a flexible caregiver and have used all these methods with my own son. I am also comfortable administering medications if needed, with your provision and instructions. We are a pet-free (except for a few fishies), non-smoking, no drugs (ever!), no firearms family. We have lived in Ambler approx. 8 yrs. We are active members of a Presbyterian church. My husband does work from home about 50% of the time as a freelance filmmaker, so he may be home during some care giving hours (though he is typically busy during the day). You are welcome to meet us both. I can refer you to a current customer so you can talk with them privately about their level of satisfaction with my care. Because I am a small, home daycare, I can be more flexible than traditional care. Though we will have agreed upon hours, if you happen to be running late one day, I can accommodate. I charge in 15 minute increments for care that goes beyond our agreed upon schedule. I do ask that you commit to a schedule, which means if you take holidays, vacation or if your child stays home due to illness, etc. you will be charged. I require that each child in my care be vaccinated according to the WHO/Center for Disease Control's immunization schedule. To protect little ones who may have other health needs, I require that parents submit an up-to-date vaccine schedule from the child's pediatrician every six months. This includes an annual flu vaccine and chicken pox vaccine. We are NOT a peanut/tree nut free home. Please discuss allergies with me. Guests use a Graco travel pack n' play, mini crib with a Naturepedic mattress or Joovy cot. We are pesticide-free outside. The Septa 94 line bus stop is at the end of our block, and the Ambler train station is <1/2 mile (10 min walk) away. I hope to meet you and your kiddos soon! Warmly, Meghan UPDATE: As of 01/2019, 1 infant slot, part time

Hi! I am a 28 year old mother with an Early Childhood Education Degree from West Chester University. I graduated in 2010 and have professional experience working with Infants, Toddlers, was a Lead Pre-k2 teacher, a nanny, and have experience working in the public schools in the area. It has been a dream of mine to start my own little daycare since I graduated, and after buying my home a little over a year ago, I knew it was time! My In-Home Daycare offers care for Infants-Pre-K aged children. I will never have more than 3 children enrolled at a time to better serve each growing child's needs. My home is perfect for a parent that is looking for their child to have interaction with other children in a setting with less children than the typical daycare. I have a great learning/play area with a bathroom and outdoor access to a big backyard in a great and safe neighborhood! I will do age appropriate developmental activities with the children to keep their little minds movin' and groovin' :) As a mother who has had to work away from my child, I know how hard it can be. I hope to make you more comfortable leaving your child knowing they are safe and having a great time learning and interacting with other children! If interested please reach out! I have contacts for references and a resume I can send if you would like.

I've been doing child care in my home since 1990, providing a quality family-style atmosphere for children from six weeks to five years old. I believe in giving close personalized attention to every child, while maintaining a close bond with the parents, as well. I realize that no one can replace the parental care that your child receives at home; however, I try to supplement that care while nurturing each child's learning development in a loving and caring environment. I have an Early Childhood Education degree, taught kindergarten for several years, and have been working with children my entire life... I believe in using fun activities in a warm and loving home environment to help children learn. We have fine and gross motor activities daily, cognitive lessons, computer fun, music and dance, tumbling, indoor/outdoor fun, water play (in the summer), crafts, and creative play. There are extra-curricular activities and holiday parties, too!! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask - I know this is can be a pretty challenging experience, especially for new moms - but I will do everything I can to make this new adventure a smooth one for you. Hi everyone! I am a certified teacher who resigned from teaching 8 years ago when I had my first child. I was unhappy with the childcare options available to me, so I chose to create a loving, educational, and home-like environment for my own child and other families like mine who were looking for a better childcare experience. Since then, I have had the opportunity to be a part of some wonderful families. My husband recently began teaching in Perkiomen Valley School District, so my family made the decision to relocate to the area. I am hoping to continue providing exceptional childcare in my new location. Before resigning from teaching, I taught first and second grade in the Philadelphia School District. Prior to that, I held several positions in Early Childhood Education, including: Director of Fairy Tale Academy in Upper Darby, Head of the Early Childhood Department at Nativity BVM in Media, and Lead Infant Teacher at the Goddard School in West Chester. I absolutely love working with children, and I couldn't imagine ever doing anything different. I am looking for 2-3 children to care for. I have always kept my group small at no more than 5 total children (including my 8 year old daughter and my 3 year old son). We enjoy many fun, educational activities throughout the day, and each child gets tons of individualized attention. I am very sensitive to families who are leaving their children for the first time, as I know it is one of the hardest things for a parent to do. I keep an open line of communication with parents throughout the day, and I will provide you with a daily outline of your child's day. I have references, clearances, and my teacher certification available. Please contact me for more information and to set up a meeting! I look forward to hearing from you!

FAQs for finding drop-in daycares near you in Kulpsville, PA

Drop-in daycare near you in Kulpsville, PA can be a flexible and convenient solution for busy parents who need child care on an as-needed basis. This type of child care gives families the flexibility to drop their children off for just a few hours or for an entire day, depending on their individual needs. This kind of drop-in service can help to reduce stress associated with arranging more traditional, longer-term child care options.

Typically, drop-in daycares cater to children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old, but daycares will vary depending on their facilities and requirements. When reaching out to drop-in daycares in Kulpsville, PA, be sure to mention the age of your child or children and confirm they accept children in that range.

While drop-in daycares in Kulpsville, PA may require a short registration process and forms to be filled out, it is usually not necessary to make a reservation ahead of time for each visit. This convenience makes drop-in daycare an ideal option for those with unpredictable schedules or when babysitters aren't available due to illness or other unanticipated events. However, drop-in centers may fill up quickly during peak times, so it's always best to call ahead to ensure the needed availability.

When preparing to drop your child off at drop-in daycare near you in Kulpsville, PA, it is important to make sure that you are bringing all of the necessary items for a successful and enjoyable experience. Remember to bring any blankets or stuffed animals that may serve as a comfort item -- this may even include pacifiers or sippy cups if necessary. It is also important to remember snacks and drinks, so your child stays well fed throughout their stay. Don't forget essentials like diapers, wipes, and changes of clothing!
