I provide in-home child care and have been licensed for 17 years. I offer care from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. I care for children aged 6 weeks old until the September after your child turns 3. I provide all meals and drinks throughout the day and most meals are home made, not frozen. I love what I do and wouldn't change it for the world. I have four adult children of my own. I am also a Grandma of 1 child with 2 more on the way! We have lots of fun every day and the children I care for are happy to be coming to my home in the morning.. We have a routine we follow every day so the children know what to expect. Please give my little day care a visit so you and your child can see what we are about. The children in my care become like family, and I am still in touch with the families that have outgrown us!

I am an Association for Childhood Development participant. This is a federal food program with strict guidelines that must be followed when feeding your children. Other items provided are linens, bibs, washcloths etc. No need to pack a diaper bag every day. I will keep a change or two of clothing in a special place for your child(ren) when they get soiled, I will wash them for the next time. My job is to make things as easy as possible for my parents and to make my children feel loved, safe and cared for in the time away from mom & dad. This is my extended family! You will not be disappointed in the care and love all of the children receive daily. There is a mini park in the play area complete with real playground equipment and plenty of shade to keep everyone comfortable. Each day our friends will meet on our friendship carpet. We take turns using our calendar to discuss the date, day, and the weather outside. We then sing our songs to learn our friend's names and to wake all of our sleepy friends up and to get our smiles going. The next hour is followed with play time. I have an entire room full of different kinds of reading books, coloring books, crafts, blocks, dolls, games, puzzles, cards, dry erase boards, chalk boards, beauty parlors, desks, toys of all different kinds. Your children will be allowed to use their imagination and play with their friends with whatever they would like. Around 10am we come together at the table where we will have a snack. After snack is our workbook time. I give each child their own age appropriate workbook full of all different kinds of activities; tracing, letters, numbers, colors, coloring, math, science. We will complete various exercises in our notebook together as a team. If the weather permits, we can play outside on my playscape or go for a walk to a nearby park. Around noon we will come together again and have a nice lunch which will be followed by quiet hour. The children will lay down with their favorite blanket and stuffed animals and rest. If your child isn't in need of a nap, I just ask that they lay down quietly for an hour. After quiet hour, we then work on a special craft for mom and dad or sometimes we will bake cookies, brownies, cupcakes etc which often the children get to bring home with them. Around 3 we will have another snack which is then followed by free time where the child again gets to play with their friends with whatever they would like. Each day your child will bring home a report card describing their mood, if I noticed anything such as sniffles, cough etc, as well as their snacks and lunch listed and also how much they ate.

Hi, I am an experienced caregiver who is currently finishing up her BS in early childhood development and learning. I love taking my little ones on small field trips to places like the zoo or toddler time at the library. I am reopening my in-home daycare. I would just love the opportunity to get to know you and your family better. At this time I am only willing to work with a few families who can help maintain a safe space in and outside my home. If you are interested please inbox me for further details. Our prices are reasonable and geared to help families who are still working through this crisis.

At Kate's Kiddos Daycare we align our curriculum to the Early Childhood Standards of Quality provided by the Michigan Department of Education. Young learners are natural, enthusiastic learners. Their impulse to ask questions, to investigate, and to explore, examine, and experiment, comes from a burning curiosity about the world and a desire to understand things. We work everyday to install a love for learning through discovery, discourse, and, most importantly, play! We do this through Discovery Centers, Music and Movement, and Sensory Play. I graduated with my BA in Elementary Education with a major in Literature Arts with coursework in Early Childhood Education. I taught grades k-6 in S. Korea, substitute taught grades k-12 in MI, and taught first grade gifted students in AZ. I LOVE children and teaching, however, after becoming a first time mommy I needed to walk away from my career in education to focus on my son. Now that my son is older, I want to return to my passion of educating and caring for children. I enjoy teaching my son through sensory play and discovery of the world around him. I know that I can provide this same care for another family in need! I'm so blessed to be a stay-at-home mom, but I'm still a teacher at heart and want to provide my expertise in child development and learning to a family, while providing child care!

I am a home-based Christian daycare blended with preschool curriculum. I have worked in Early Childhood for almost 15 years now and have two grown children of my own. Over the last 10 years, I have seen a gradual decline in the quality of our children's education. Sadly, the focus has turned from educational results being evidenced in our children, to the learning center's desire to look good on paper. In knowing that the first 5 years of a child's life are the most crucial, I want to offer families an opportunity to have their children attend a daycare/preschool that offers a small enough class size that allows for plenty of one-on-one learning while also being able to offer other lifelong skills such as proper socialization, problem solving, and team work. I take pride in what I do and feel honored to be chosen to work with families and their children. I offer a curriculum that is a blend of Creative Curriculum/Teaching Strategies and Abeka. We assess the children's progress using Teaching Strategies 64 Goals and Objectives in the areas of Social-Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies and The Arts. Today, Kindergarten is more advanced than in the past. Children are expected to know a lot more when they enter into Kindergarten. My program is set up to have your child Kindergarten ready! I offer a smoke free environment in a bright cheerful homey setting. My home has lots of natural light, which I love. We go outside daily, weather permitting. We supply snacks and healthy home cooked meals. Give us a call and come check us out. You'll be glad you did. FAQs for finding drop-in daycares near you in Harrison Township, MI

Drop-in daycare near you in Harrison Township, MI can be a flexible and convenient solution for busy parents who need child care on an as-needed basis. This type of child care gives families the flexibility to drop their children off for just a few hours or for an entire day, depending on their individual needs. This kind of drop-in service can help to reduce stress associated with arranging more traditional, longer-term child care options.

Typically, drop-in daycares cater to children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old, but daycares will vary depending on their facilities and requirements. When reaching out to drop-in daycares in Harrison Township, MI, be sure to mention the age of your child or children and confirm they accept children in that range.

While drop-in daycares in Harrison Township, MI may require a short registration process and forms to be filled out, it is usually not necessary to make a reservation ahead of time for each visit. This convenience makes drop-in daycare an ideal option for those with unpredictable schedules or when babysitters aren't available due to illness or other unanticipated events. However, drop-in centers may fill up quickly during peak times, so it's always best to call ahead to ensure the needed availability.

When preparing to drop your child off at drop-in daycare near you in Harrison Township, MI, it is important to make sure that you are bringing all of the necessary items for a successful and enjoyable experience. Remember to bring any blankets or stuffed animals that may serve as a comfort item -- this may even include pacifiers or sippy cups if necessary.
