I will have availability for one (sorry no infants at this time) starting the week of June 10. Why a smaller family day care setting? Because not only is your child's basic needs met, but they are nurtured in a home away from home setting. The benefits of a loving and comfortable environment along with a mixed aged group are numerous. Parents often find that their infants are more outgoing, stronger and adventurous, because of their interactions with older children. The young toddlers are often advanced with speech and motor skills and the older children learn the importance of patience, awareness of their surroundings and tolerance. I have been licensed and caring for infants to kindergarten since 1993. I strive to help each child reach age-appropriate developmental milestones, develop strong social skills, good manners, and the ability to play in a group setting or individually which fosters their self confidence. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment with days filled with fun, preschool curriculum, crafts, circle time, snacks, beverages and hot lunch daily. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuition is $225.00 a week. Part time $55.00 daily with committed day. No drop-off service available. I look forward to speaking with you to provide more details about our typical day and answer any questions you may have. Welcome! I am offering affordable in-home childcare out of my Honey Brook home. I am a mother to a three year old son and we are looking forward to adding children to our care. I offer daily or weekly rates and welcome children as young as 6 weeks old and as old as Pre-K. I do offer a sibling discount, and I do not charge for days that you are not in need of care (spring break/winter break/ snow days). I have ample space inside and out for playing, I plan daily activities and crafts, and we go on at least one adventure a week year round! I have gained my experience through my education, as well as from nannying full time, working at daycare centers, and having my own in home center when we were stationed in Hawaii. My goal in providing care is to give your child a home away from home, and to have fun with other kids around their age. Inside you will find a play room on the first floor with our go to favorites including legos duplos, magnetic tiles, a play kitchen and cars and trucks. In our finished basement you will find ample space to run and play, lots of trains, a mini roller coaster, a climbing structure with slide and even a moon bounce! Outside we have a fully fenced in yard with room to run and play- on warn days we will get to play in sprinklers and water tables. Each week we will have at least one adventure. Our go to in the late spring, summer and fall is Cherry Crest Adventure Farm. Other adventures include a local mini pony farm, Urban Air, bowling, local parks, Dutch Wonderland, Sesame Place, Diggerland, Elmwood Park Zoo, libraries offering story time and The Please Touch Museum.
