Stallings Family Child Care 30700 Avenida Juarez Cathedral City, CA 92234 760-776-1506 License # 334840853 Our Daily Schedule Our daily schedule is very flexible to allow for unplanned events or other opportunities that may arise throughout the day. Some days we do not fit all this in....but we try! We have a movie day once a week on Fridays. I choose the movie! We usually watch it after snack in the afternoon. Sometimes we will have a picnic on the living room floor with a large blanket and lots of pillows.....and we eat our snack while watching the movie. This is only done as a special reward "cause we had such a special day"! We do go outside everyday to play in the backyard (weather permitting). 7:30 am - 8:30 am Arrivals/ Free Play & Breakfast 8:30 am - 10:00 am Circle time, yoga, singing, outside or inside play 10:00 am - 10:30 am Morning Snack 10:30 am - 11:45 am Little learners time - Cooking, Baking, I-Pad, ABC, 123 etc. 11:45 am - 12:00 pm Clean-up Playroom - Wash up for Lunch 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Lunch 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm Story Time 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm Quiet Time (Nap-time) Children who do not nap are provided with quiet activities while the others sleep or we may work on a special project "just for them"! 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm Afternoon Snack 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm Structured Play - group activities, dance, outdoor play, or indoor games, etc. 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm Free Play/Parent Pickup Guidance Policy Purpose of this Policy This policy is the guideline that Stalling Family Child Care will follow to assist children in developing self-control, self-confidence, and sensitivity in their interactions with others. Guidance is required to ensure order, prevent injury, and ensure a child 's activities are not infringing on the rights of others. Guidance Strategies It is important that the caregiver 'sets the stage ' for a positive atmosphere and maximum opportunities for desirable behavior. This will be done by: 1. Explaining to the children what behavior will be acceptable and explaining the reason for the limits, doing so in a positive way; 2. Focusing on the child 's behavior, rather than on the child; 3. Allowing the children time to respond to the expectations; 4. Reinforcing appropriate behavior; 5. Being willing to listen and respond in a fair and supportive manner, and; 6. Observing children in order to anticipate potential difficulties.

Sharon's Playhouse Child Care

49550 Pioneer Dr Morongo Valley, CA

7 mi

Sharon's Playhouse believes in a learning environment that fosters social and emotional development. We feel that preschool should be a "home away from home" that encourages cooperation with classmates and positive relationships with their teachers. We model and teach positive approach language: "May I play with you?" "Please may I have the toy when you are finished?" "Can we play together?" "Can we share?" We believe preschool should be a fun, spontaneous, and challenging place, where children's curiosities, strengths, and values are nurtured and respected. We believe play is the best way for a child to accomplish the skills they need, while feeling comfortable, secure and independent. We offer Child Care, Preschool, Extended care for school age, Full, Part time or drop ins. Great location for families living in Yucca Valley and working in the low desert. We take ages 2 to 12, If your child is still in diapers we will help potty train. Government paid programs excepted (Gain-CalWorks-Kids N Care)

Drop-in daycare near you in Desert Hot Springs, CA can be a flexible and convenient solution for busy parents who need child care on an as-needed basis. This type of child care gives families the flexibility to drop their children off for just a few hours or for an entire day, depending on their individual needs. This kind of drop-in service can help to reduce stress associated with arranging more traditional, longer-term child care options.

Typically, drop-in daycares cater to children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old, but daycares will vary depending on their facilities and requirements. When reaching out to drop-in daycares in Desert Hot Springs, CA, be sure to mention the age of your child or children and confirm they accept children in that range.
