In-Home daycare
I have recently decided to follow my heart and open a small home based daycare. I have been in the medical field for the last 16 years and still work contingent as a respiratory therapist on the weekends. I am First Aid/CPR certified. Our daycare has a great interactive lesson plan. Some of the things we do are morning circle time, music and movement, art, sensory projects, fine and large motor skill stations, nap time, etc.

Hello, My name is Clarissa! I am a former middle school teacher with a Master's degree in Educational Technology. My Major is in Science and my Minor is in Language Arts. I am staying home now since I have 2 children in elementary school and an infant at home. It gets hard trying to shuffle a full-time job and ensure your children are getting the proper attention. I decided instead of having my children in daycare and before/after school all day that I would stay home with them when school was out. I would love to care for one or two more children either before/after school or all day if not in school yet. An option if before/after school care is needed would be to drop your children off at my house before school and they can ride the bus to school and ride the bus back to my home after school and you can pick them up when you get out of work. I will help them with their homework, feed them if needed and make sure they are loved and nurtured while you are at work. We have a large childproof home with toys from infant up to elementary as well as a large play set in our yard. We have a desktop computer for online learning. Since my background is elementary education, I can also help your child with school work while in my care. Prior to earning my teaching degree I studied nursing for 2 years so I also have a little background in health as well. All meals are provided unless you would rather bring your own. Right now it would just be myself and my 10 month old son so we would love for you to join us! We live in a clean nice, non smoking home in Rochester Hills. Hours are 6 a.m.-7 p.m. Price per day is $35. Price per week is $165. Before/After School is $25 per day. Just before or Just After School Care is $15 per day.
