We offer a Montessori Infant, Early PreK, PreK/K program for ages 6 wks-6 yrs. We also provide as an added benefit daycare for all ages up through 12 yrs of age. Our program is catered to our families' needs and their children. *We provide nutritional meals and snacks, all homemade. *We have secured entrances, no one comes in without a key tag, pin, fingerprint or a staff member letting them in. *We have 8 cameras up and running with plans for 8 more all being recorded on a DVR. In the future, these cameras will be available for parent view online. * We also are a chemical free school. We use all natural products through Melalueca. There are no harsh cleaners like bleach or Lysol being used. Our Center is open Monday-Saturday from 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. We do provide childcare should schools close unless it is too treacherous for our staff, parents and students to travel in.

Our teachers are dedicated and well trained in the art of early education. We are always learning, teachers and students. Following the Highscope curriculum we take an approach to learning that is more individualized, but still focuses on social engagement with others. We use hands-on learning activities realizing that learning how to get along is the key skill to focus on these days. Then we learn how to combine learning with what is fun. Other than the safety of every child, this is what is most important at our preschool. Constantly searching for what your child enjoys and providing the guidance they need in order to excel in these activities is just part of what we do. We have been family owned and operated for 40 years, and Honey Bear is just getting started. We have 7 different classrooms located in 3 different buildings. The classrooms are divided into Infants (2 weeks old to about 1 and a half years old), Toddlers (1 year old to 2 years old), Terrific Two's (2 years old to 3 years old), Preschool (3 years to 4 years), Young 5's (4 and 5 year old's that are not yet in school), and School-Age (we have summer programs and a latch key program). Our supportive and caring teachers facilitate a daily routine of activities such as circle time, music programs, painting, reading, free play, dancing, and art. We will teach your child proper social skills, good behavior, how to follow directions, responsibility and prepare them for kindergarten and success. We provide breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks each day that are delicious and nutritious in order to keep your little one healthy and happy. There is nothing more important to us than the safety and security of your child, therefore we have multiple high definition security cameras in every classroom, over 30 HD cameras total throughout our center. Each classroom also has key coded doors at every single entrance so that you can feel confident in the safety and security of your child.
