That is why I have decided to open up my own daycare, that I am excited to take very long term:) This is my passion so it will not seem like a job for me, which I am most excited for because that has been what has made me unhappy with my other jobs over the years. I dreaded going to work everyday because it felt too much like a job and a job I didn't really want to do. My philosophy is I lead by example and am a pure believer in letting children learn by experience with some guidance. From my own experience, children thrive best in that environment. They learn from doing things themselves and figuring out what works and what doesn't. Obviously they cant do that all on their own so that is where the supervision and guidance comes into play! I am big into making children feel comfortable so I can assure we will develop a family like bond and they will not want to leave Miss Katies house;) I will treat them as one of their own. They will have equal amounts of fun with playing just like children should but also have that learning time and structure that should always be implemented. I am one that loves being organized so there will definitely be a routine that the kids will fall into. I also provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks. They will have all the necessities, everything imaginable from outdoor things to indoor toys and I keep collecting more! My hours are M-F 7-5. You will not feel like you are dropping your kids off at a typical daycare. I look forward to speaking and gaining more family!
