I'm Michelle, I have opened an in-home day care at my house in Brandy Station, Virginia. Prior to adopting my son I was a Firefighter/Medic/EMT Instructor. I worked and volunteered in the field for a little over 10 years. After adopting our son I decided to stay home. My husband and I are foster parents, we do not currently have any foster children, or anticipate any in the near future. My husband and I both have been fingerprinted and background checked and passed (we will provide records). My husband is a professional Firefighter/Medic for the government, while he will not be the primary caregiver for your little one, due to his shift work, he may be home from time to time (Three days one week, two days the next). I am willing to provide a background check for my husband as well. I am willing to watch three to four children on a full-time basis. As well as have your children dropped off at my home to ride bus and be dropped off for the school year 2014-15. My hours can be flexible on a case by case basis if needed. I am able to provide a safe, learning environment for your son or daughter. My home is a basic rambler on several acres (0.5 acres with 6 foot fence) two extra rooms, large basement, smoke free, no carpet and 2 dogs; one small Pug (Peanut) one medium Beagle mix (Buddy) There will be many activities for children of all ages. I will keep track of all daily activities and provide a written report for you at the end of each day to take home. I would love to meet you and your child. Please feel free to contact me any time.

Our facilities include warm and inviting spaces with quality learning materials, indoor gymnasium complete with safe equipment, spacious cafe area for meals and multi-purpose opportunities, carpeted areas for quiet time and discovery, kid friendly furnishings for instructional time and outdoor fun area which includes Little Tikes for imaginative play. Daily activities include arts and crafts, music and dance, active story time, creative and center skills, quiet and reflective time, circle groups, sensory and motor skill play and much more!
