Hi everyone! My name is Diona or as my former little ones would say Ms. D! I started out as a lead teacher for infants to 4 years old. I'm a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University and proud of it! I utilize my degree in psychology with a background in child development to help assure parents that their child will stay on track with stimulating activities, appropriate for their age group. I first got into babysitting around the age of 16 and it's still something I love to do part-time. I also have experience more so on the nanny side (cleaning, dishes, laundry, cooking etc.) My experience with being a nanny/babysitter has increased greatly over the last year and a half. I specialize in full-time, date night, overnight care, traveling/transportation, tutoring etc. I'm your go to. I'm prompt, reliable, and I strive to leave lasting impressions on the entire family (pets included). I'm outgoing, trustworthy, and honest. I am new to the Dallas area, looking forward to meeting you!

Diona is GREAT! Both times that we used her she was wonderful. My daughter keeps telling us we need to leave so Diona can come back to play. She interacted with our daughter, played Barbies, with play doh, and everything else my energetic 4 year old asked of her. When it was bedtime she sat by the bed because our child loves talking herself to sleep. truly a wonderful individual :) Derek and Chanelle

Pet Lover Wanting To Help Care For Your Furry Family Member

Responds within 4 hours
Hi, my name is Melanie. I am 32 and a mother of 5 (my beautiful 8-year-old daughter, an 8-year-old Chow Golden mix Willie, a Sheltie Corgi mix Riley, a 1-year-old Domestic Short Hair cat Panda, and a 6-month-old DSH cat Levi.) Willie and Riley love to go to the dog park and play with their friends. Panda and Levi are my cuddle buddies, although for the right feather toy they will expel some energy. I started working with animals in 2001, when I went to grooming school for Petsmart. I worked there styling cats and dogs until 2007. I wanted to work with a larger variety of animals, so I started working for Dallas Animal Services. I helped rescue and care for domestic pets (cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, birds, and reptiles), livestock ( chickens, horses, donkeys, cattle, and pigs), and wildlife (raccoons, squirrels, opossums, snakes, and birds). Working for the shelter gave me the knowledge to administer medications, feed baby birds, bottle feed puppies and kittens, as well as other baby wildlife, and to care for most livestock animals. In 2012 I began working at Pete and Mac's Pet Resort. I helped care for the pets boarding at the resort ( feeding, water, medications, playtime and grooming). Unfortunately we only had one location in Texas and it shut down recently, so I decided to stay at home now with all my babies. I do deeply enjoy interacting with other pets. They all have unique personalities and its like getting to know a new person every time you meet a new pet. I would like to offer my extra time and love to your furry baby. I will provide pet sitting, feeding, water change, walking, playtime and affection. I can also provide grooming if requested. I understand how stressful it can be on you and your pet when you have to be out of town or work late. I will do my best to make your pet comfortable, as well as send updates and pictures via text message or email. If you have any addition questions or if I can help you with your pet care needs, please feel free to contact me.

How do I find a good dog boarding service in Irving on
Unlike pet sitters that come to your home, boarding your dog means taking it to a facility or someone else's home in Irving. Before you agree to bring your fury family member over, ask to take a tour so you can see the place beforehand. You want to make sure there is a good level of cleanliness, that your dog will have a comfortable place to sleep and will be able to safely play with other dogs if there are any. Make sure to ask for references from other pet parents in Irving before making and decision. Also ask about how often you'll receive updates about your dog and how they communicate with clients if there is an emergency.
