I provide in-home child care for week days/nights, after school care, date nights and short notice drop offs. I primarily have experience with ages 1 through 12 years of age. I have a potty chair for potty training, high chairs, a stroller and pack and plays for nap times. Currently in my care I have a 3 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. The in-home child care that I provide is held in the basement of my home that is roughly 1,100 sq ft so there is a lot of room for playing, running and learning. There is a separate entrance downstairs for child pick up, drop off and quick access to be able to go outside to run and play. I believe that children enjoy the atmosphere of an in-home daycare that provides a structure similar to being at home with mommy and daddy. My husband, me and our two boys live in a great safe community that allows the children to be able to make additional friends while we all play outside. In addition to the safe community there is a park that is less than a block away that can be seen from our home. I try to seize every opportunity to be enjoying the outdoors teaching children new things. Occasionally we will have a movie day with popcorn; especially if it is raining out. We also do finger painting, coloring, play-doh, circle time for reading, seasonal activities, free time and much much more! Every meal that is provided under my care is home cooked from scratch (even fresh baked cookies!). During meal time we do family style seating where the children learn some basic manners such as using a napkin instead of their pants to wipe their hands or fingers :) Upon meeting parents who potentially would enjoy having me as their care giver you will be introduced to my family, given a tour of our entire home and shown the location of the park that the kids and I frequent.
