America’s Child Care Cliff: How to prepare for a nationwide crisis that may affect your workforce

Description:

As of September 30th, more than 70,000 daycare providers abruptly lost funding from the federal government put in place during the pandemic to help them stay afloat. Many of these daycares used this funding to give much-needed pay increases to staff; some simply had to pay their bills. Also known as the child care cliff, this sudden loss in funding may result in those daycares having to close their doors, potentially leaving 3.2 million children without care.

As a result, this crisis has the potential to have a massive impact on working parents across the nation as increased care costs and dwindling supply may be reality for them in the coming months.

  • How your working parents may be impacted by the child care cliff and the potential effects on your organization’s overall bottom line
