The International Au Pair Exchange

Our mission is to create life-enriching opportunities by combining cultural exchange with quality, flexible, and affordable childcare. We achieve this mission through dedicated support and personal attention for all our program participants, provided incooperation with our Washington-based professional staff, Local Exchange Coordinators located in the communities we serve, and a network of carefully selected international partner organizations. We are proud to support international and cultural understanding by connecting the world, one family at a time. The International Au Pair Exchange (TIAPE), based in Bellingham, WA, is a cultural exchange organization and operating series of Member Synergy, LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company. We are proud to be one of only 13 organizations across the United States to be designated by the U. S. Department of State as an official program sponsor of au pair Exchange Visitors in the United States. As a designated sponsor, we legally sponsor placements between enthusiastic and exceptional young adults from around the world with caring host families in the United States. Our au pairs provide childcare assistance while participating in cultural exchange and completing academic courses at an accredited post-secondary institution.
