Shining Stars Home Child Care is a licensed home child care that is now accepting applications for children, infants through school age. I have 10+ years of experience with children, first in child care settings and more recently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Hours are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. , Monday through Friday. I am located on the near Northwest side of Indianapolis only 10 minutes from downtown on I-65, or on the way from Zionsville, or only minutes from Michigan Road by Kessler/56th St. A map of my exact location can be found on my website.

I accept CCDF. I am CPR/First aid certified as well as Safe Sleep Practices. I am trained in Universal Precautions. I have many years of practice working with parents on parenting skills as well as working with children. I have worked both in child care settings and as a social worker/therapist working with children and families. I have worked with children that have ADHD as well as many other behavioral difficulties. I believe that consistency and structure are the most beneficial things for children and will follow a schedule during the day. Though I will also allow for free play in order to allow the children to grow their imaginations and social skills. I am a part of Paths To Quality which helps daycare incorporate early learning experiences to prepare children for future success.
