I have been working for SenCura for about 11 years. During that time period they have provided ongoing on-line and in office training to improve my care taking skills. Communication between "The Office People" and field workers has been excellent, thus creating a pleasant work atmosphere. SenCura has always been very accommodating by assigning me shifts that fit my schedule. As appreciation for their continued efforts to assist clients during the height of the Corona pandemic caretakers received a bonus pay from SenCura. If I ever need a caregiver for myself or a family member they will be my choice.

It saddens me that I cannot write a good review for this company nor can I seem to find many others who also have good things to say.

My husband passed away in August of this year at 29 years old. An age this company was not used to caring for. We were promised many things from the beginning and my one request was that we got the same CNA. This of course never happened and when we did get some consistency the CNAs were not good. They were lazy, didn't do the exercises with my husband that I asked them to, and I usually came home to more work and things to clean up. I also had to call once to correct a bill because the CNA was leaving much earlier than what she reported to the company. I mentioned this to the company and their only solution was to transfer me to another CNA. For the amount we were paying I was not impressed by the quality of their service and found myself using them less and less.

I sensed a lot of disorganization with this company. Especially from the owner, Cliff. I did not get a good feeling about him from the first time we met. He kept referring to my husband as if he were not in the room, but he was sitting right next to us. I had to call several times to get a hold of him to change the bill that was overcharging us. Then once my husband passed away Cliff took forever to send our insurance company the information needed for us to get our reimbursement. Cliff mentioned from the beginning that they would not deal with our insurance company directly, but when we weren't paying a bill that was received right after my husband had passed and insurance stepped in to pay them, Cliff took the money. Funny how that changes when someone is willing to give you money. Now here I am, 5 months after my husband passed, receiving a bill from them. I called Cliff to talk about this and asked for him to continue his communications with insurance since thats how he decided to change our case. I did not want to receive bills in my husbands name if I did not need to be. I truly am appalled at his response. He was extremely rude, sarcastic, and had no empathy for my loss. All he cared about was getting his money. He yelled at me even when I calmly asked him to stop speaking to me in a tone. He interrupted me and continued to talk on and on not listening to what I was saying. I truly have never met any other head of a company like this. Most times its their employees that may be rude, but to interact with the head of a company in this way is shocking.

This is my first negative review for any company. I don't usually write reviews, but my experience was so shocking and during an already hard season, that I felt like something should be said. Please take the time to review companies before hiring them, I wish I had. Especially companies that will be caring for your loved ones.

Our family not only needed someone with great skills and knowledge in patient care, we found that Robert was able to guide us with great compassion through this most difficult time. I am deeply grateful for almost two years of your services for my aunt. During this time I was free of any worries of how her daily needs would be met for bathing, dressing, grocery shopping, medications, and meal preparation. While most any capable person could perform these tasks, you provided and energized and upbeat caregiver who never failed to keep me informed with daily notes of my aunt's activities and phone calls when something more urgent was happening. She was able to perform several small miracles to get my aunt to cooperate and was always professional in carrying out her responsibilities. Your careful vetting of caregivers' backgrounds for suitability, and your prompt attention to finding individuals who matched the needs and personality of my aunt is very much appreciated.

I wanted to personally thank you for the kindness and care you gave my father. Through the ups and downs of his kidney failure, emergency room visits, hospital stays, and dialysis treatments - you all were available when and where I needed you. If it hadn't been for your services, my Dad wouldn't have been able to remain in his house for as long as he did. You all bent over backwards to make sure he was well taken care of when I was unable to be with him due to work and family responsibilities.
