Such a kind caring and fun staff. My son always comes home happy. It is daycare so typical daycare things happen but I feel safe with my son at RCDC.

Rochester Christian Daycare is run very poorly by upper management. They have diminished my trust in them to keep my toddler safe. Please read with an open mind as what I am about to say is unsettling but true. My child had been bit 7 times in 10days. (Nov-Dec2014) After the seventh bite, the biter was temporarily moved out of the toddler room. I was told by management when it is time to move that child back into the toddler room, the child would have a shadow, a one-on-one teacher. When it came time to move the child back, management changed their mind with how it would be handled. They stated the resources are not there to get a second teacher. They didn't have the resources. I spoke to both the Child Care Council and the Office of Childern and Family Services, both said RCDC could have added a teacher to the toddler classroom to keep my child safe. I had been promised multiple resolutions to keep my child safe, however management neglected to keep their word to us.

We apologize for this unfortunate situation. Biting in toddlers is not an enjoyable situation by any means for all parties involved. Unfortunately, it is also not uncommon. When speaking to the CCC and the OCFS, I believe what they meant was that we could hire an additional teacher. No teacher would be provided free of charge however. As a not-for-profit center, we unfortunately did not have the resources available to hire a new teacher without balancing our income and expenditure. We did however exhaust all of our available resources. The CCC and the OCFS was contacted by our center director, as well as Early Intervention. This was certainly a learning experience for our center. All staff have been properly trained in handling these challenging behaviors in toddlers and we have implemented a policy on biting. The safety of our children is always our number one priority and we were very sad to see your family go. We wish you all the best!

My two boys (ages 1 and 3) attend RCSD. I feel very comfortable leaving my boys there. My older son has a peanut allergy, and the daycare staff is very meticulous about making sure to examine all ingredients. Since I am not able to be a stay at home mom, I'm happy they're at RCDC. I feel like I am leaving them with family every day as opposed to a business. The teachers really care about the children. My boys love the teachers and their friends.
I have 2 children attending daycare (Pre-K and Toddler) and 1 child enrolled in the school aged before and after care. All 3 enjoy it and like the activities that they do. We've been a part of the daycare since my 6 year old was a baby, so they have grown up with the daycare and have close relationships with the teachers. The teachers are personable and communication is good. I like the close knit atmosphere and feel comfortable leaving the kids there. Tiffany, the director, has also done a lot to keep communication open and has done well with new ideas and activities for the kids. I love her enthusiasm!

My daughter has been going to Rochester Christian Daycare since she was eight weeks old. She is two and a half now. I cannot say enough about the wonderful people who not only watch her everyday, but have taken an interest in teaching her all kinds of things. Being a single mother with no help from my daughter's father has made it that time is stretched, and with the help of Rochester Christian Daycare I have been able to work a full time job and know that my world, my daughter, is in excellent hands. There are so many activities and arts and crafts type activities the daycare provides, I'm confident and am assured that my daughter is in good hands, and is learning as much as her little brain will absorb. I would recommend Rochester Christian Daycare to anyone looking for a competent, fun, friendly, safe, loving environment for their child.

Thank you for your kind words! :) We love having your girl with us!
My daughter has been going to RCDC since she was 7 weeks old. She is now in pre-school. She loves the teachers and atmosphere here. Even when the school was undergoing new changes my daughter insisted we stay and continue with her favorite teachers and friends. We are all excited for the new changes that are happening. My daughter loves the new curriculum with teacher Brooke too. It feels like family when your there. I love the Christian values they teach. Making God and Jesus's love their top priority. With encourages good morals and values in all the children. I can't thank them enough for helping me bring my daughter up in love.

Thank you! We are lucky to have such loyal families. We just love having your girl with us everyday!
RCDC is a very family based and a loving facility. I have 2 children that attend the daycare/preschool and they both love it. The communication is very good between staff and parents and I can call- text- or email any questions or concerns I have and check on my children throughout the day. The price is right too- compared to most RCDC has the best rates and I know that my children are safe and well taken care of
