The worst! Sunday 8/12/18 NO call No show for my MIL who has severe dementia. This the probably the 5th time this has happen in a few months since Somerville/Cambridge Elder Services provided us with this service. Do Not Use This Service. Useless from the top all the way down to the ppl they send to our home.

Many times when Right at Home gets cases from state agencies, care is broken out throughout the day over many visits. For example, if someone has 2 shifts a day, 7 days a week....that is 14 shifts a week. Any client that Right at Home has for 6 months has 364 shifts in that period. No calls and call outs are very difficult to manage for all agencies and families. This example would demonstrate a 99% fill rate if Right at Home had difficulty filling a case with two shifts a day and had problems for 5 shifts. Though our goal is always 100%, this review causes a distortion of how state provided services work. We would encourage Dawn to call John Paul Plouffe, our Director of Home Care Operations at 617-623-9300 to discuss her particular case and we are sorry for her dissatisfaction. We service over 700 clients per week and we want them all to be 100% satisfied.
