Hello, my name is Latashia and I have always had a passion for children. I have my undergraduate degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix and a graduate degree in Early Childhood education from Western Michigan University along with a day care license through the State of Michigan and my passion have always been to operate a loving and caring day care home. I have all my training certifications and I am ready to welcome all families who are looking for a caring nurturing environment and affordable day care for your family where your child will be taught and read to and nurture and loved in a clean environment. I believed reading to your child daily is a great credential for learning and success. In my program I participate with the Grand Rapids Library Story time for little readers where the kids have an opportunity to share fun stories, songs, rhymes and learning in groups followed by hands on activities and play time designed for growth. I also participate with play and learn groups at Grand Rapids Community College Early Learning Laboratory for more developmental growth. Every Summer my kids in my program participate with summer reading at Grand Rapids Public Library where we set a goal to challenge ourselves for a prize.
