My child went to this daycare for about 4 months. It was wonderful at the beginning I needed transportation so I had a fee for $5.00 a day which was $25.00 a week. I worked 2nd shift 2pm-10 they would come pick her up at 1:30pm and bring her before I even got off at work which was around 9:45 pm when they would dip her off. They would always ask me when are you getting a car I'm like does it matter I pay transportation fee so it don't matter when I get a car. But as the months goes on Ms. Katherine would always make excuses that something happens in her family she couldn't watch my child on the days I had to work. It became obvious that she only wanted the money and not do the work. I would NOT recommend anyone to this daycare because they were closed more than they was open. Also when it was time I found a new daycare I let them know the same day that DSS would give them a 10 day notice well ms. Katherine rudely texted my phone saying "I will no longer watch your child anymore thank you" and I had to work the next day in the morning thankfully the new daycare felt bad for me and said she come the next day because the daycare didn't want me to return because she was upset that her payment will be discontinued. .

I haven't used this daycare, but it was on my list. I visited and liked it; Katherine and her husband showed me around and I asked some questions and spoke with them for a few minutes. Very nice. No indication of any problems. I told them I wanted my sister-in-law to take a look around, since she would be either dropping off or picking up my child at some point(s), and that maybe Monday or Tuesday. That was Friday morning. Well, we stop by on Monday afternoon. She goes in while I am waiting in the car with her and my kids. She's in there maybe five minutes. When she gets in the car she tells me what happened, that she introduced herself and everything was ok at that point (she said that Katherine was sitting at a table with some paperwork, I believe), and her husband was being very receptive, and all of a sudden Katherine just burst out saying that no, they weren't interested, that she wasn't having it...pretty much being plain rude and unprofessional, hadn't even stood up from the table, much less looked up from what she was doing to give her the time of day. I got out of the car and knocked on the door myself, and they wouldn't even open it for me. Through the door I told them I wasn't trying to be confrontational or belligerent, I just wanted to talk and ask them what was going on, and left. My sister-in-law and I were trying to figure out what in the world the deal was, why, if they didn't want to take me on as a client, would they not at least call to explain whatever the situation was to me, and be honest and professional about it from the start. On a professional level, would I recommend them? Maybe. They did seem to have a good handle on how they ran things, and sounded like they were doing it for a while. But on a personal level? Probably not. The only reason I didn't rate it lower than 3 stars is because I never left my child in their care and only going by my screening experience.
