Ms. Tina's Independence Preschool is a commercial care facility, licensed and regulated by Arizona Department of Health Services. Our maximum capacity is 59 children. We ave six beautiful classrooms. Ms. Tina has been a teacher for 25 years. Our daily routine is set up so that children are comfortable in knowing what always comes next. They are prepared for kindergarten when it is time for them to graduate. Each child is given an assessment every three months, so parents can see their child's progression. Our curriculum aligns with Arizona Early Learning Standards. We teach in thematic units. Your child will have daily projects that teach about a certain theme for a few weeks at a time. A few examples of our themes would be: ocean, incubating baby chicks, hatching butterflies, growing a garden, water safety, and bugs. Those are just a few of our many different themes throughout the year. Ms. Tina, has three teaching degrees: AAS in Early Childhood, BA in Elementary Education, and a MA in Special Education. She was a teacher in the school system before she had her own children. All employees are fingerprint cleared and have CPR and First Aid training. Ms. Tina's husband is a Firefighter, so sometimes we even have our own personal firefighter on duty! ;)
