We understand the importance of reading, writing, and mathematics, and we also understand that students benefit greatly from project-based and hands-on learning. Therefore, we utilize a hybrid learning model: students receive academic instruction in the morning, and they do hands-on and project-based learning in the afternoons. We utilize traditional curriculum, because we know that it works, but we also offer students the ability to move around, worship God, do art projects, get messy, build things, get curious, and run around outside. Our students are learning about Jesus, reading authentic literature, doing traditional mathematics, building boats, asking questions, getting sweaty, writing stories, singing worship songs, and laughing. They should come home feeling brilliant, accomplished, curious, and full of stories; and they should want to go back to school the next day and do it all over again.
