Heyward Street Preschool is a place where learning, creativity, and imagination thrive. Our preschool is SCDSS licensed and ABC Quality. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Students attend all 5 days but may be picked up at 2:30pm, 4:30 pm or 5:30 pm. In addition to our nurturing classrooms, we have a well equipped, shaded playground as well as a large activity center to foster lots of movement and play. Our class sizes are small so that our teachers can meet the needs of individual students as well as the class as a whole. The preschool has been located within Heyward St United Methodist Church for more than forty years and we are known as a community based daycare center. Many of our families walk to the preschool.
