Buyer beware. I have used Got It Maid before, and the cleaning was fine, nothing to write home about, but certainly not terrible either. For the upcoming holiday, we wanted to have our house cleaned, and the only available times were when I was at work. I booked two (2) cleaners for two (2) hours, and gave them a code to get into our house. They called when they arrived, and when I got home, the house had been cleaned.

The next day I received a charge for double what I was expecting. I called to find out what had happened and was told that the team had stayed for twice as long as I had booked (so two (2) cleaners, four (4) hours). When I protested, saying that I had clearly booked only two hours, I was informed that I should have communicated to the team that they needed to leave at the end of the booked time, and that it would have been impossible to finish the job in the two hours I booked. I inquired as to why I didn't receive any notice that the team would take more time, and get my OK to stay for four hours instead of two. There was no good answer, only the company stating that this was a customer error, not a service error. I asked what would have happened if they had stayed for 8 or 10 hours, and was told in that case I would have been charged for 8 or 10 hours.

If you want a decent cleaning, Got It Maids can make that happen. Just be careful that someone is home or that you check and double check that they will only be staying as long as you signed up for.

Edit: ~20 minutes after making this review, I received a threatening text message indicating that they would pursue legal action if I disputed the charge on my credit card, and would place a lien on my home. I am sorry they feel as though I am trying to withhold payment for services rendered, but I never agreed to additional time. I don't think I'll be using the company again at this point...
