Be careful with Caring.com links to providers-like this one. Caring's Website and/or this one suggested Elizabeth Manor was a place, an destination, but it's not. I had 2 appointments to view homes for my aunt, looked for the 'Elizabeth Manor' sign. The webpage did not specifically say you were visiting some person's house. Not well thought out, poorly communicated to the comsumer.

I am contributing my Comments to benefit any of you who are wrestling with the painful, stressful decision of where you should best place your loved one in need of care, my experience with Elizabeth Manor and the outstanding level of care and supervision you can expect from this wonderful facility.

My beloved 95 year old Aunt , afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease, has been in the expert, loving , one-on- one care of Elizabeth Manor, 176 Spackenkill Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 for 3 1/2 years. This is a private Adult Home that cares for a small number of Residents at any time. In this manner, each is guided, supervised and cared for in a one-on-one manner. Their needs are met quickly, they are carefully medicated and supervised and, most importantly of all, they're treated with genuine love, affection, respect and dignity. I must say that same respect and warmth is always shown to families and friends of the patients.

It is my fervent belief that Aunt Kay's progression of
Alzheimer's Disease has been slowed by the level of care and subsequent Quality of Life she enjoys there. She would not find that in a large , more anonymous
Nursing Facility setting.

I applaud Mrs. Patricia Tyndale ,Owner/ Operator ,and the entire selfless staff of Aides who care for my Aunt as though she Is their very own.

I give my heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate,
generous hearted Mrs. Tyndale and all her loving and giving Staff. Thankyou all!!

Having chosen Elizabeth Manor to take care of someone so precious to me has made all the difference in my loved one's level of contentment and my peace of mind.
