Daya's Preschool And Home Daycare

Daya has been caring for babies and children in her home in Fairfax for more than eight years and is fully licensed to work with children from birth to age twelve.

Daya has availability for up to ten children and works with a skilled childcare assistant when she reaches a certain number of infants and preschoolers. Daya builds and nurtures a close relationship with the families she cares for.

A regular day starts at 7:30 a.m. when children start to arrive, and ends with the last ones being picked up around 6:00 p.m. In addition, Daya is available for evening care, over night care, weekend care, or other times needed by parents.

Many parents value Daya's flexibility and have relied on her help in circumstances where a new baby arrived in the family, when a siblings was hospitalized, or when a parent had to travel extensively.

In addition to regular preschool and daycare services, Daya offers after-school care and supervises children when they do their homework.

Activities and Projects
Daya does a variety of arts and craft activities with the children in her care. Everything she offers is age appropriate and promotes a healthy development.

Some activities are:
painting with fingers, hands and feet
drawing with crayons
safe and age appropriate use of scissors
seasonal activities

All projects are proudly displayed in the play room and later are sent home with the children.
