I was very disappointed with the communication and compassion received from compassionate care hospice of Delaware. While the morning aid provided good care to our mother several times a week the communication to the facility from the compassionate care Nurse about the family of loved one was not accurate. When family reached out to Nurse to try to understand where comments came from her response was "I am not going to argue with you". Not what I would call compassionate! I learned that other hospice have frequent meetings with family hospice team and facility team so everyone is on the same page and information shared is accurate . There is more than one hospice to choose from. Do your research so you pick what is best for your family

On more than one occasion, the Aide has not shown up and NO ONE CALLED TO INFORM ME OF THIS. When called, they promised service in the p.m., but that didn't happen either and no call to cancel either. When this happens, I am stuck and waste valuable time as I DEPEND ON THEM WHEN SCHEDULED. Also, it took almost 3 months before the Social Worker visited. An appointment was made, but no one showed and no cancellation call either. This not only is upsetting to me, but ALSO TO THE PATIENT. Now I have to struggle and try and do their jobs. THIS IS NO WAY TO OPERATE.!!!!!!
