They are the worst and should not be in business, very uncaring, unprofessional..

We hired Comfort Hands Home Care to help on the weekends with my mother-in-law who has Alzheimer's. I spoke with Bridgett on several occasions to make sure they. were sending us someone who had not only training but experience with this disease. They send us an aide that never worked with anyone with Alzheimer's and was even asking her sister who dropped her off what that even was. When I contacted Bridgett she assured me this aide was fully trained. This was the most stressful weekend of my life and I stayed home to watch what was going on. This aide who supposedly was trained had no idea how to deal with this. She was pulling her around my the arm. As much as we said let her go outside, she likes to walk around. She kept locking the door and closing the blinds. If you know someone with Alzheimers, you know that sundowners is part of this so you need to let daylight in when it is light out. She kept insisting that she take her coat off and pulling it off of her. Only to agitate her more. These are things you do not do with someone with this disease. We finally sent her home as we had had enough. Bridgett then calls me a week later and says we have the perfect person. I decide to give this one more try. I meet with the aide and she was suppose to start on Friday. Well Friday rolls around and nothing. I call Bridgett and 3 hours later, I finally hear back that the aide isn't coming. This company is the most unprofessional company and when you are dealing with a loved one with a serious illness you do not have time to play games with these people. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
