CHOICESS is an agency dedicated to improving and increasing the ability of persons with developmental disabilities to choose to live in their own homes or apartments, have profitable jobs, develop friendships and participate in community activities.
CHOICESS is a private, nonprofit 501( c ) (3) Corporation that was founded in 1988 by Joseph and Rebecca Donofrio and a Board of Directors made up of family members, individuals receiving services and advocates with the mission of providing support services topersons with developmental disabilities who want to live, work and recreate in their own communities. <br/><br/>The mission of CHOICESS is to provide support services to persons with developmental disabilities so that they can live, work and recreate in the community, and for individuals to become interdependent within their community by assisting to build and develop a community network. <br/><br/>CHOICESS will provide support, and coordinate generic services for individuals to function successfully in their community.
