Hi and welcome to my Care.com. My name is Annie and I have been a licensed daycare provider for the past 20 years. I am licensed by the state of IlIinois and DCFS. I am 48 years young with 3 older children myself. We are located in Mount Prospect near 294 and accessible to Palatine road and 53. We are CPR and First Aid certified with an early educational background. We also do 15 hours of continuing education every year. We provide a clean, safe and loving environment. I have 3 different floors depending on your child(ren) age and 3 providers on premises at all times. Each provider brings something different to our program. Energy, structure, and understanding.We do arts & crafts when age appropriate, story time, painting, and outdoor play (weather permitting). For preschool & kindergarten aged children we provide before and after care with transportation to and from school. We love being apart of children lives and watching them grow. At Annie's Home Daycare provide the following:

-Ensure kids are supervised at all times

-Prepare and dish up nutritious meals and snacks

-Perform a variety of activities for children such as songs, games and story telling

-Develop day by day activity plans

-Plan and apply activities to meet the emotional, bodily, intellectual and social needs of the children in the employer s home

-Set-up policies and procedures regarding disciplinary policies

-Provide playing equipment and toys to kids

-Ensure daycare room is clean and well maintained and secure at all times

-Provide opportunities for sleep and rest time

-Build children's self-respect

-Provide daily schedules of activities

-Develop culturally suitable programs and activities

-Keep parents informed regarding child's development
