My name is Amber Willis. I am a Certified (Early Childhood through 4th Grade) Teacher and taught Kindergarten in Plano ISD for 7 years. Prior to that I logged many hours in classrooms volunteering, observing, substitute teaching, and student teaching through my degree program with University of Texas at Tyler and Texas A&M-Commerce. I also have two years of experience as a Certified Teacher's Aide with Henderson ISD where I was responsible for teaching technology curriculum in my own classroom.
I became a teacher in order to help children reach their potential and become a successful, happy adult. Providing a home filled with love, security, guidance, and great opportunities to learn the skills necessary to be a successful and happy member of society is our number one goal as parents. I chose to step away from teaching in order to be a full-time Mommy to my own children and help them accomplish those goals. I still have a desire to work with children and help them prepare for their school experience in a smaller setting.
