I am a on the Math Faculty at a major institution of higher learning and am a Licensed Professional Engineer with over 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience for K-12 students as well as college tutoring for the University of Washington, Women in Engineering Program, Seattle Central Community College and Diocesan Boys' School, covering subjects ranging from basic arithmetic, algebra and geometry to college-level physics and chemistry, differential equations and engineering statics/dynamics.
I created a fun, stimulating, encouraging and interactive learning atmosphere for students to learn, think, ask questions, practice and grow.
I encouraged and inspired students learn, think and see Math from different angles to understand the fundamentals, visualize the concepts and applications.
I made Math fun to learn and use. I created real-time examples to help students relate theories to their daily lives.
I ensured absolute clarity of concepts and fundamentals as they are building blocks for advanced concepts.
I use simple exercises to increase the individual student's self-awareness of their own problem-solving and analytical methods and approaches as well as learning other students' methods.
